The School of Marine Science offers graduate programs leading to the degrees of M.S. in Marine Science and Ph.D. in Marine Science.

The interdisciplinary nature of Marine Science is reflected in the School's departments of Biological Sciences, Environmental Science, Fisheries Science, Physical Sciences, and Resource Management & Policy.

The School is an integral part of the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, a nationally and internationally recognized major player in coastal and estuarine research.
